Three put on trial in women selling case
The Dubai Criminal Court yesterday heard the case of three Bangladeshis who allegedly attempted to sell two women to a police decoy for Dh9,000.
The women, one Bangladeshi and another Indonesian, who were working as housemaids, had absconded from their employers after the accused promised to get them lucrative jobs. However, once the women absconded, the accused tried to force them into prostitution. The police got wind of the racket and set a trap.
