Court acquits housewife of prostitution charges

A 20-year-old Iraqi girl has escaped being deported to her war-torn country after a court acquitted her of prostitution charges.
The Dubai Court of First Instance acquitted the 20-year-old housewife, identified as U.H., of having sex with men for money for lack of evidence.

The Public Prosecution had charged U.H. with prostitution. Two Emirati policemen, A.H., 26, and Y.M., 25, were also charged with having group sex with U.H., her 16-year-old sister, I.H. and compatriot friend, H.M., also 16.

I.H. and H.M. are being tried at the Juveniles’ Court after the Public Prosecution charged them with prostitution.
The Court of First Instance also sentenced the Emirati policemen to three months in jail each. The 26-year-old was fined Dh1,000 for possessing liquor. Source
