Supervisor referred to public prosecution

The Dubai Police yesterday referred a Pakistani security supervisor to Public Prosecution for allegedly forcing his colleague to have sex with him.

Police sources said the 27-year-old Pakistani official, S.M., who supervised a security team of three Asians, allegedly misused his position and forced his colleague to have sex with him.

According to a complaint, S.M. learnt that a 25-year-old Nepali guard T.N., who joined his team in December, 2007, had a deformity in his arm.

Since a security guard has to prove hundred per cent fitness at the time of joining the job, S.M. advised the Nepali recruit to hide his deformity by wearing a long-sleeved jacket.

A few days later, both of them visited a sports club at night in Jebel Ali. After the club closed by midnight, S.M. persuaded T.N. to have sex with him in return for the earlier favour.

T.N. decided to report the matter to his company which informed the police.

During interrogation, S.M. denied pressuring T.N., saying the Nepali colleague had consented to have sex with him. Source
