Rise of public trust in AD Police

A questionnaire conducted by Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Police HQ under the title "Trends and Attitudes of the Public Towards Abu Dhabi Police " has shown rise in the public trust in AD police to top 92.4% compared to 90% last year.Satisfaction towards the police among those who were to deal with AD police in one way or an other has risen to 86.2% compared to 79% last year.Brigadier Nasser Salim Al Nuaimi, Director of the Office of the Minister of Interior said that this rise in the public trust is a clear indication of the high concern of Lt.General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Interior about upgrading the service provided by the police and satisfy the public through protecting them and their properties .The questionnaire covered 1200 people of different nationalities from different areas of the Emirate in the period from May 7th to June 7th 2006.
