Three held with hashish
Three Pakistani nationals have been charged with possession of 63 grams of hashish. The contraband substance was seized from a ship berthed at Khor Fakkan port.
The accused, identified as G.A., A.R. and M.S., were arrested after undercover agents of the anti-drugs unit reported the presence of narcotics on their vessel.During interrogation by police, the three accused denied their role in drug trafficking. However, they were then referred to the Public Prosecution, which charged them with bringing illegal drugs into the country with the intent of selling.
